i have a 4 speed saginaw bought out of a local salvage yard. i think it might be out of a 82 camero it has a torque arm on it by the mount looked around cant find anyone to help find the year what shifters would fit any help would be appreciated thanks love the novas!!!!!!!!

It's probably a T-56. Don't get too excited if it is out of a V-6 it will puke it's guts out behind a stock 305 V-8. If it is a Snaggle tooth it will have external shift rods in the side cover (bolts to side of case) and the T-56 has a single hole in top of the tranny tail for a shifter rod to access the internal shifter rails. Send a picture with any numbers (casting numbers and stamped into machined surfaces) to look up and identify your find.
