Hey guys, the clutch pedal seems normal (clutch feel) when driving around town but on real long hauls in stop & go on the freeway (rush hour) seems the pedal/clutch goes to halfway before i feel the clutch... is this normal ??? it seems a significant difference between the two...

this is on a hydraulically operated system on a '98 Ranger p/up

i've had quite a few manny trannys but never felt the clutch go away like this, then be fine during regular use

i'd appreciate any feedback.

thanks :D

Sure it isn't your leg going away;) (couldn't resist the opening you left)

Can you smell the disc burning at all??? Maybe the master or slave are bypassing some when the fluid gets hot.

naw, everything seems ok 'cept i notice the drop in the pedal. but later, after it's cooled down i can get back in and it seems up where it was...

my brain's a little outta gear lately so i'm kinda puzzled on it... wha-chu thinnin' QweeksDraw ??? :D
