I am about to bolt up my headers and exhaust and was wondering if the copper 3 inch gaskets work well? They are expensive, but will they last longer than the composite gaskets. (i'm assuming because of the price) Do they require any sealant?

Any experience and advice with copper exhaust collector gaskets would be greatly appreciated.

I've run the standard and ultra-seals from Mr. Gasket, and eventually they blow out or come apart.

The coppers are the way to go, mine have 4 years on them and not one leak or problem. I run them clean without sealant.

I'll second that experience.

Thanks guys for your input. I guess the copper gaskets are well worth it. I'm glad to hear that I put my money in the right part.

Your information is appreciated, and now I'm anxious to install them.
