This is my 1969 Nova, everything original except for the wheels, steering wheel, and the radio. All matching numbers and it has 67,000 original miles on it. I bought it for $4,000. How much do you think it's worth?

I paid that for my Camaro 10 years ago  69novakid Nov 3rd, 09, 09:49 PM I can get the pics of the motor tomorrow, but here are a few pics I have of the interior. Like I said before, this is all original including paint job and interior. I'm 17 years old and I was pretty darn excited about this being my first car and all. Not really unusual though, considering I grew up around these cars. TrueSS72 Nov 3rd, 09, 10:11 PM Welcome Cody, Congrats on a Beautiful first car, you'll definatly make memories with it. 69novakid Nov 3rd, 09, 10:20 PM Welcome Cody, Congrats on a Beautiful first car, you'll definatly make memories with it. Very appreciated. I love this car. Though I do have to say that it kinda gets old everybody coming into work asking to buy it. But I love talking about it. And it drives great. It has the v6 230 in it. Good on gas mileage too. ;) Philip Nov 3rd, 09, 10:50 PM Welcome Cody, nice car and to be correct it is not a V6 but an inline 6. There are 2 ways to stop the people asking to buy it, 1) tell them it is $25K and 2) put a sign on it that states "NOT FOR SALE" :D bullet Nov 4th, 09, 03:37 AM a million bucks! sweet ride 69novakid Nov 4th, 09, 07:26 AM As soon as I get the Corvette Ralleys sandblasted and powercoated, the American Racing wheels are coming off and the Ralleys are going on. It's a good thing I don't have to buy brand new ralley center caps. I didn't really know those were so darn expensive. Jackel Nov 4th, 09, 09:49 AM WOW, great buy. I love the interior color combo, almost looks retro-50's. Great deal, great car, you are one lucky guy....Jackel David_H Nov 4th, 09, 10:38 AM Now I don't think it matters what I think its worth as I'm not a car appraiser:D I think you got a good deal if that helps you. higleyml Nov 4th, 09, 11:00 AM I have to say it before Brian gets here...Its worth what ever you are willing to pay for it! LOL :D Sorry Brian I couldnt help myself!;) Blown73 Nov 4th, 09, 11:09 AM Clean car for a first ride. Some one has taken good care of it for the last 40 years! Congrats! bigdaddykane Nov 4th, 09, 12:07 PM are you sure those door panels are original? 69novakid Nov 4th, 09, 02:16 PM Here are two pics of the motor. A bit dirty I think, but the only things I've done with it is I repainted the breather, took all the grease off with engine degreaser, and put a new carb. on it. 69novakid Nov 4th, 09, 02:17 PM And I also repainted the valve cover. 69novakid Nov 4th, 09, 02:18 PM are you sure those door panels are original? I'm pretty sure they are. I have all of the records from when the car was brand new and I didn't see replaced door panels anywhere! SPARKY69 Nov 4th, 09, 03:16 PM welcome to team nova!! looks like a nice car!! good find!! 69novakid Nov 6th, 09, 02:29 PM I've recently been having some trouble with it though. When I mash the gas, It bogs down until it actually starts going smooth. I've replaced the distributor points and checked all of the spark plugs. And cleaned the carb. Any ideas guys?? TrueSS72 Nov 6th, 09, 07:37 PM Carb needs tuning maybe? 70NovaSmokeya Nov 7th, 09, 01:25 AM Here are two pics of the motor. A bit dirty I think, but the only things I've done with it is I repainted the breather, took all the grease off with engine degreaser, and put a new carb. on it. Carb needs tuning maybe? x2  were you having gummed up/misfire or the likes type issues before? Did the car sit for awhile? (Gas quality?) 69novakid Nov 8th, 09, 12:33 PM x2  were you having gummed up/misfire or the likes type issues before? Did the car sit for awhile? (Gas quality?) I put regular gas in it and it had been sitting for a couple of months, but not any longer than that. SPARKY69 Nov 8th, 09, 01:46 PM Fuel filter?? 69novakid Nov 8th, 09, 09:19 PM Replaced it already. TrueSS72 Nov 8th, 09, 10:02 PM It either sounds like it's getting to much fuel on acceleration until it gets high enough rpm's to take the fuel or not getting enough, if your carb is tuned right, might check your fuel pump. Cador Nov 9th, 09, 11:45 AM I will go ahead and say it since everyone else is afraid to. Timing, maybe? 69novakid Nov 10th, 09, 05:41 PM I think it's either the fuel pump or the timing. Thanks guys....I really appreciate all the help. 69novakid Nov 10th, 09, 05:46 PM Check this thing out...I would drive the crap outta this thing. I could drive my favorite car and still go muddin' Alice the Malice Nov 10th, 09, 06:36 PM Check this thing out...I would drive the crap outta this thing. I could drive my favorite car and still go muddin' That's pretty extreme. I think you should get another car to go muddin' but that's just my opinion, ha ha Novaz Nov 10th, 09, 08:22 PM I will go ahead and say it since everyone else is afraid to.
