I don't see any EDIT or DELETE buttons on my posts. How do I do these functions, or am I missing something here? Thanks!

You can edit a post for about the first 24 hours or so (I'm not sure the exact amount of time, but it is about a day or so) after that that feature disappears. Only a mod can delete a post, which we do not normally do without provocation (we lock threads that get a little carried away and send privatte messages to the offenders before the whole thread gets deleted).
