I need to purchase a gas tank sending unit for my 1971 nova ss, it's the one with two pipes, 3/8 inlet and smaller return. I don't see them listed with ground up or other dealers. Any suggestion where one can be purchased. Thanks

The seconmd pipe is a vent not a return line. If you had a return it would have three lines.

The 72 tank will have more lines due to the change in EPA regulations mandating the EEC systems. The upside is they retro fit EFI systems better. If considering fuel injection in the future you may want to buy the 72 tank and plug off the extra vents until needed.
