So how would you build your Nova/Chevy II?

Pro tour, but I sold all my Nova's a while ago! WAAA! But I have enough Camaro's to drive my self crazy.

I'm shooting for what I feel like at the time. When I got my '63 it had a 9" rear, a 8pt cage, fuel cell and "other" racing components. The cage had to go but new racing buckets are in and the cell remains. It's kinda in a class of its own.........LIMBO:clonk:

After years of the pro-street look, I'm now on the pro-touring side of the fence.

Like the pic of the one in my profile- I've been accumulating the goodies for my 69 for almost 10 months......the right year....color......trim.......rims.........and the right bodytwist from the big block yanking the front end off the ground- wish I could figure out how to post the pic here......its my favorite!

Im with Flyer.. Im an odd ball too .. moordoor cruiser with an L6 and lake pipes lowered shaved .
Its cool being a little different than the rest :)

the flyer would be a better candidate for the spinners John...heck the spinning action alone must be good for an extra 2-3 mph at the top end :thumbsup: :D :clonk:

Actually the Flyer needs propellers to make it fly, so a full set of spinners would be working fine!!

Body ,trim ,windows, etc. are all original 66stuff. All vintage tin! A few cool mods here and there. Full tube, 4link, and 750 hp bbc are for fun! - no silly gas! Car is NHRA certified and State of IL. cert. LEGAL. A TRUE 9 sec street car .....with mufflers and dot rubber. I saw some nice Nova pics on the net..........But I didnt gank em.....LOL

COOL ride! Very similar to mine. My 66 has been a race car since 66. First time on the street last yr! Made changes over the years.....but recently went over everything - NHRA and sfi are a bitch - finished last yr. The day of Superchvy Show.....Got OUTSTANDING award in pro engineered class. LOT's of nostalgia in my car too.
