No I won't get mad, This is the kind of stuff I would love to hear from people.. I really don't like the look of lowering of cars... Yes some of them do look great, But I really don't think this car would look that good...
I did have some clearence issues with the car when I was driving the car home when I bought it...
The car had 15 inch wheels on it and they rubbed the inside of the wheel wells so I did have to drop the wheels down to 14 inch...
I would love to hear more input from others

Great car! I like the stance also, There' so many cars dropped now that having a stock stance is starting to get differant

Drop it if you don't want to lower the whole car at least bring the rear end down the stink bug stance went away with starsky and hutch.:D:thumbsup:

Agree with David H. If you can lower the rear a lil, my personal opinion the stance would be better. Cornering may be a lil better as well.

Nice color, Jay. I like cars at stock height myself. You have a nice looking car there.

Keep the ride height... only thing I would think of doing is making the rear stripes like the front ones.. maybe even have a little bit of color change at the very end to highlight the heat ;)

I like the look and really like racing stripes. I would lower the rear just slightly. Now if you had some big, fat, huge, bulging tires in the back then we are talking a new ball game. Jackel

Sharp looking 73. Are those stock ss style mirrors ? or did you add them afterwards.

NIce looking car. I cant tell from the pic if there is a rear sway bar or not but it might help. Sounds like the 15inch rims that were on had the wrong backspacing or maybe the tires were a little too tall. Were they rubbing in the front or the back? Whatcha got in that and lets see some pics of it too.

These are the stock SS style mirrors... I had to replace one with another stock mirror because the driver side mirror itself would just flop around in the housing... The adjuster cable was broke

No I do not have a rear sway bar on this car... The 15 inch tires were rubbing in the front... Most of the time they rubbed when making a turn... The engine size is just the typical 350 small block

I have 215/65-15s on the front of mine with no rubbing issues. You may be able to use the 15s with a tire change if you liked those rims better. I have a rear sway bar on my car, makes a big improvement when going around corners. I do alot of driving in the nice weather.
