Ok...maybe a dumb question...but, I've been a Camaro guy all my life and always had a nice beefy crossmember to lift the front of the car high enough to put the jackstands on the frame. Since I am relatively new to Nova's (only a couple of years), where is the best point to lift the front end of a first generation?? The crossmember that goes from frame to frame in front of the pan appears to be small. What do you guys use?? The rear isn't a problem because I can use the differential, but the front is a different story.
Thanks

You can use the front crossmember to jack the car up and set your jackstands on the frame just behind where the front clip meets the body. If you want to unload the rear suspension use the brackets for the front leaf spring mount.

Really? I have always been afraid to use the crossmember to jack the car up. But now that I have the CPP kit I don't want to jack it from the front bumper area and bend the CPP plate. Good to know.

I use it to jack up the car and spread the load with a piece of square tube steel (wood block would work too).
