Any ideas where to get a new housing for tail lights or an alternative I could use? The ones I have are broken and unservicable. I would like to update the actual lighting...something bright...any ideas?

Might try looking at LED lights which do not need much of a light bucket, and a set of repop lenses from a Nova or a 1969 Camaro mounted up side down, or even a RS/SS 1968 solid red Camaro tail light. I would stay away from the 1959 Caddy bullet lights and the '49 Merc or even the Maltese Cross tail light as they have been over used.
