Okay, I have to change my front end on my 67 Nova wagon. I cannot afford the TCI and Heidts stuff and I like my stock fender wells. I already have CPP dropped spindles and disc brakes so there is no cost there. My question is: who has installed the kit with the upper and lower control arms and how did you like it? Did it install like it was suppose to? Does it ride better and handle better? Where you happy with it? Let me know, thanks.

i bought a '65 wagon with no engine & no trans. it was an old worn out car but i thought it had a lot of character...
i did some clean up work on the car, threw in a 350, an SS PowerGlide... also a CPP mini sub frame kit. i used the deluxe model with both uppers & lower a arms. installed exactly as was instructed. no problems what so ever. the car also got a front & rear disc brake upgrade. new spring saddles, drop coil springs, Idler bearing conversion and KYB's all around.
it was an absolute great car. i thoroughly enjoyed the car. i eventually sold it to get the necessary funds to complete another project i had started previously.
i'd recommend the CPP kit to anyone.
here's a couple albums of the wagon... i christened it "the JollyRodder"

The CPP lower A-arm (mini-sub) kit makes a big difference in ride and handling for early Novas. The upper arms are not necessary, but they are nice.

I had a mini sub frame installed with out the disc breaks. It was a new car I went ahead and had brakes installed I love it. Best bang for the buck I've found for my 63.

Hey Shifty4, thanks for the input and the pics. I got a question regarding your side exhausts. Do you get any fumes generated into the interior while you drive? And is it loud when you drive with the window down?

was it loud ??? WHAT !!!???

Naw, not really. no louder than anything else i guess. it had conventional "Turbo" style mufflers on it. not too loud, not really quiet though. i liked it ;)
and no, no fumes ;)

I've got the basic kit and their sway bar with out the upper A arms .I installed it myself and my Nova drives like a new car .I would not go back stock for any reason.I have two friends that have changed their 66s out and swear by it also. It's money well spent.

i need to get the magazine this weekend so i can read about the "Suspension Shoot-Out". Bryan Fargo "NOGO" participated in the shoot out and from what i hear he sat everyone on their ear figuring what the competition was.
