Excellent Question: I don't have a clue but will be watching for anyone that does. It will be hard to track if there not registered I would think.
Let's hope someone has an idea out there since then I can also check on the number of 65 Hardtops...
Bob in CT......Personally I don't think it can be done but let's see...

flattery will get you nothing :noway:
(except that check, which is in the mail  )
no way to tell qty of any specific year or model... unless it was something super special like a Yenko where there's organizations committed to searching them down and documenting them. but a std ol'ChevyII (even an L79) isn't special enough to warrant that special attention.

production numbers according to NovaResource: http://www.novaresource.org/production.htm#1962
1962
100 series L4 (excludes wagons) 11,500 (rounded)
100 series L6 (excludes wagons) 35,500 (rounded)
how many 300 or 400's that have been cloned into 100 series cars ??? unknown... how many 100's that have been cloned into 400 series cars ??? again, unknown.
i have a '64 400 series that's had all holes for trim filler/removed. so it could be confused as a 100 series car... but it isn't.
