i read the VIN as being a '67. maybe i'm wrong.

it doesn't appear to me as being a Vert chassis either.. again, maybe i'm wrong but there doesn't seem to be much support there. looks like a '67 someone chopped the top off a coupe and installed the Vert pieces.

one thing to remember Bill... they only made a convertible for 2 years.

i'd be very concerned about that car... it doesn't appear it has a correct VIN tag on it.

Bill: You should only be embarrassed if you bought this CONTRAPTION they call a convertible. I'm glad I came in from cutting the grass to get a good laugh at lunch. The seller must have overdosed on Yoo Hoo while destroying it. It's legally a half breed of a 63 and 67 which is probably only worth parts. As said before-You can't make a convertible out of a hardtop without alot of frame reinforcement. Here in CT it wouln't get registered anyway since it's all chopped up and VIN's wouln't match to anything.

If your looking for a nice Nova convertible buy a nice Nova convertible. 1962 and 63 are the only years. They are available fairly reasonable now because of this wacky economy, so this is the time to pounce on one. Buy the very best one you can afford is my motto...

I'm still shaking my head over this one...What a waste of time and effort..

Sorry: I just read about no bashing Jim or his product. I will say it must have taken some work to produce his final project but even though it's a one of a kind ragtop, I would pass on it. I'm sure Jim could lead you to a little STOCK Ragtop Nova since he's in the business. Sorry Jim if your reading this..Guess I got carried away breathing my lawn mower fumes..

i posted my opinions based on what i was looking at. i didn't read the whole complete thread... being it's on E bay we're free to critique the vehicle. he didn't build it. according to what i saw on E bay he's a used car dealer, it's not his handi work it's someone elses.
