Description: This is an original 4491 Holley carb with a date code of 9A4 (First week of November 1969). This was installed by Chevrolet on the L78 396/375hp in the SS Nova with a 4-speed Muncie transmission that was sold new in California in 1970. This Holley carb has been in storage for many years but looks to be in great original condition and does not appear to have been used very much. All the number codes on the air horn, main body and metering blocks are right and still look original from Chevrolet and Holley. Everything moves freely but because it has been sitting for so long it should be rebuilt and may need a few small parts before it can be used in a car. I would be using this for my 1970 SS 396/375hp L78 Nova but I need a restored 4557 Holley carb. Please e-mail me if you have any questions or if you want more picture and thanks for looking.
